Welcome to FixMyBias

Are you biased?
Join FixMyBias to find out. FixMyBias will help you identify, measure and reduce your biases.

What are biases?
Biases are distortions in reasoning and judgment that prevent you from seeing the world as it really is. Most people are biased most of the time. The most common and important bias is overconfidence (underestimation of uncertainty), which is the gateway to other biases.

Why should you care?

Because decisions are made under uncertainty, overconfidence and other biases in uncertainty assessment often result in poor decisions and outcomes. The best decisions in business and life are made when uncertainty assessment is reliable, i.e., completely unbiased.

How does FixMyBias work?
You answer questions about future events with probabilities that quantify your uncertainty. FixMyBias compares your responses to the correct answers, when known, and measures your biases quantitatively, providing feedback you need to reduce your biases. Answering training questions can provide immediate bias feedback.
